• good evening ,,, I hated to dip out so early this morning! I had to get myself cleaned up and head into town for a dental appointment...

my win for today was / is in honoring my commitments to myself by lessening the distractions and focusing on one thing at a time. my brain has a tendency to become quite excited which isn't helpful when it comes to me accomplishing something. So, I set up some structures to help me focus on one thing at a time .. and it appears to be working. It's an incredible feeling to see things completed!

And it seems this win in some way ties into the affirmation.

    • I'm aware of my body and its healing energy: absolutely ... there was a time before essential oils when I had no relationship with my body other than to bathe it. Yet, once I started with the oils, I started to experience surges in the energy of my body. I also came to recognize discomforts as a form of healing energy .. I began seeing symptoms as a call for help. While the body is capable of amazing miracles, chronic distress to the body leads to notifying the mind that it needs outside / additional assistance. So even though we view symptoms as 'bad', 'problematic' and so on, they're really indicators of the healing energy hard at work...

    • I'm choosing to embrace the joy of movement: I love physical movement for sure yet the movement of the mind is just as exciting. We're over 70% water, that means fluidity is our nature. Being rigid in mind and body limits our ability to live and enjoy life. There was a time when wallowing in the stuckness was a way of life for me until I started noticing the signs of wear and tear on my body and soul from being so stuck in my ways. It took baby steps between noticing and shifting. Yet, the slightest movement altered my perspective of the situation / world which released blocked energy and liberated my actions. This rippled out into my social and physical activities which ultimately led to a greater experience of joy

    • Moving with intention gives me an energetic center: I couldn't agree more. When we move with intention our actions are aligned with our vision / desire / intention.Yet to move with intention, you must pause and consider. It's not unlike linking breath to movement in yoga. Pausing before taking action clears the mind and steps way from reactions that apply pressure. I see this as the difference between feeling driven and feeling called. To me the latter is empowered action, inspired from our core

Thank you guys! I love this HTN family!
