Friday 3-4-2022 HTN4U Badass Affirmation on Choosing to Receive Love

Bill Bowman I love this affirmation so much and thank you for creating it for us to discuss. 

My life is filled with love I'm choosing to receive. - I thought about this one. There has been "love" that my life was filled with before and I chose it, but it wasn't the life or love I thought it truly was. I was receiving less than because that is how I felt. When I started a relationship with Bill, this was different than any love I had ever received and it's the true kind of love that I was searching for and finally found. I definitely chose to receive from him and I'm so grateful that I did because it opened me heart up to other relationships that I always had some protective barrier against because of my past friendships (which I talked about in the CH room). 

I'm surrounding myself with loving people. - this was interesting to me as well because I did the same thing I mentioned above. This doesn't have to mean people outside family, it includes family. There was a time I had to spend time away from people in my family and some I haven't seen in 10 years for personal spiritual and health reasons.

Who you surround yourself with definitely impacts your life. I'm so grateful that we have the amazing community that we do because I'm surrounding myself with loving people. We all have a mission in our lives to make the world a better place! We also have a genuine love and care for one another and what's going on in each other's lives.

I'm open to receiving an abundance of love - YES! there was a time I didn't feel worthy of that ( I didn't know that is what is issue in my life was). The first 2 lines really lead into the 3rd line - Receiving an abundance of love (just being open to that) for some that is freakin scary and unknown territory. Been there. However, now that I have removed the fear (love doesn't exist where fear is) I am open to receiving more than I could imagine.
