    • This affirmation was very powerful and impactful to so many in the room today. We heard about the death of unicorns (sad face) and how cupcakes were the culprit. Then we talked about forgiveness of others and self. Wow, that was deep. When forgiving others can be easy, forgiving of self is tough. Why though? Why aren't we worthy of the forgiveness we extend to others. Are others more worthy of that or do we know how to? What has happened in your life that you can't forgive yourself and how would it feel to be released from that judgment?

      Let me know your thoughts.

      In love & light,

      • I believe the difficulty I've experienced with forgiving myself has a lot to do with the way I observed others being harsh and judgmental of themselves. As a little one, I came into this world full of wonder, love and appreciation. As I grew, I witnessed contrast to my sense of self. My attentive and curious self noticed the way my caregivers and others judged themselves and one another.

As it's said, monkey see, monkey do. I adapted and copied what I observed. When I looked at those that could offer forgiveness, I learned they were unable to let go of the circumstances that opened the door to forgiveness. I adopted the practice of self judgment because my behaviors were perceived as truly unforgivable.

That's a very long way of saying that I see our inability to forgive ourselves is an example conditioning and something we can reverse ...

Thank you Nikilette and Bill ..

        I love you ~

        • Yes, the caregivers are the ones we learn from. When we evolve beyond their teachings, then things shift in our lives and if they are still here on the planet, they are forced to shift our interactions with us.

I was one that mimicked. I love doing that with music etc, but then I found I wasn't being me, I was mimicking and that isn't being your true authentic self. The power in recognizing that we aren't aligned to our true self is when we can really grow and be in purpose to ourselves and our mission in life.

          Love your share Tammy!

Thank you! In love & light,

          Nikilette
